The Painted Fish Performing Arts Society is a volunteer run theatre experience for people of all ages and abilities.

Actors, singers, dancers and stage crew who display undiscovered talent can participate regardless of age or financial status. Our program is free to all participants.

Experienced producers, directors and actors lend a hand to ensure all participants contribute to quality performances. In our 18-year history we have helped over a thousand people present full-scale musicals, concert shows, and new works by Canadian composers for the Calgary and surrounding community. Some of our undiscovered talent has gone on to professional careers in theatre and music. We are very proud of them.

Painted Fish has been nominated for 16 community theatre awards and numerous Theatre Critics Awards.
